Fees
Seventy euro for an individual meeting, one hour. Ninety for a couple. A first conversation costs the same and commits you to nothing.
The figure is written here because asking is awkward, and not having to ask removes an obstacle.
What it costs
- Individual meeting, in the consulting room or online — 70 euro, one hour.
- Couple meeting — 90 euro, an hour and a half.
- A first conversation — the same fee as the corresponding meeting, no reduction and no commitment to continue.
- Party-appointed expert work — by written quotation, agreed with the law firm.
How payment works
At the end of each meeting, in cash or by bank transfer, or in one payment at the end of the month if you prefer. I issue an electronic invoice for every payment; healthcare services are exempt from VAT.
Tax relief
In Italy, psychological services are deductible from income tax at 19% on the amount above a 129.11 euro threshold, as healthcare expenses. For the deduction to hold, payment must be traceable: if you pay in cash, it lapses. I send invoices by email and they are worth keeping.
If the fee is a problem
I do not offer reduced fees. There is, however, the Italian bonus psicologo, when INPS reopens it, and the public health service, which is free. If either is the more sensible route for you at a given moment, I will say so.
